Our core product

Not Solar Electricity Panels. Solar Water Heating.

A solar water heater captures the Sun’s thermal energy and uses it to heat water. An ETC model typically has a row of double-wall glass tubes connected to an insulated storage tank.

The tubes absorb solar radiation. A vacuum layer between the glass walls helps reduce heat loss, while the insulated tank helps keep the collected hot water warm for later use.

  • Uses sunlight as a heat source
  • May reduce electricity or fuel used for water heating
  • Available system designs vary by capacity, water quality and pressure needs
  • Backup heating may be useful during prolonged cloudy weather or high demand

Designed around useful heat

Why Consider an ETC Solar Water Heater?

Benefits depend on the actual product specification, installation, sunlight, water quality and usage. These are technology advantages—not a guarantee of identical results at every site.

◉

Vacuum Insulation

The vacuum between the tube walls greatly limits heat transfer by convection, helping reduce heat loss from the absorber.

☀

Solar Absorption

A selective coating on the inner tube helps absorb incoming solar radiation and convert it into heat.

↗

Natural Circulation

In compatible thermosiphon systems, warmer water rises and cooler water moves down, allowing circulation without a circulation pump.

♨

Insulated Storage

An insulated tank slows heat loss, helping keep collected water warm after sunshine hours.

🔧

Tube-by-Tube Replacement

Some ETC designs allow a damaged tube to be replaced individually. Confirm design and spare availability for the selected model.

⌂

Many Hot-Water Uses

Can be evaluated for homes, guest houses, hostels, hotels and other suitable hot-water applications.

Important: ETC glass tubes can break and hard water can cause scale build-up. System selection should consider local water quality, hail risk, pressure requirement, maintenance and the manufacturer's instructions.
Sunlight can do the heating

Hot Water Without Regular Geyser Electricity

Solar water heating sunlight ki thermal energy use karta hai—electricity generate karne wale solar PV panels se alag technology.

☀

Suitable passive systems mein

ETC jaise thermosiphon solar water heater mein sunlight se paani garam ho sakta hai aur natural circulation ke liye circulation pump ki zarurat nahi hoti. Is design mein water heating ke liye normal electric geyser jaisi direct electricity consumption nahi hoti.

Simple idea: Sunlight → heat → hot water. Jab solar heat aapki demand poori karti hai, to electric geyser ka use kam ho sakta hai.
⚡

Important: har system same nahi hota

Kuch commercial systems pumps, controllers ya electric/heat-pump backup use kar sakte hain. Badal, winter, high demand aur installation design ke hisaab se backup heating ki zarurat bhi pad sakti hai.

Honest claim: Electricity saving system aur usage par depend karti hai. Website kisi fixed percentage ya zero-bill guarantee ka claim nahi karti.

The science in simple words

How the Tubes Turn Sunlight into Hot Water

Solar thermal collectors convert radiation into heat; they do not generate electricity like photovoltaic panels.

1

Absorption

Sunlight reaches a selective absorber coating inside the tube, where radiant energy is converted into thermal energy.

2

Lower Heat Loss

The evacuated space between glass walls limits convection and reduces conductive heat transfer across the vacuum gap.

3

Water Heating & Storage

Heat moves into the water through the system design. The insulated tank stores hot water; circulation method depends on the model.

ETC vs FPC: ETC uses evacuated glass tubes; FPC uses a glazed, insulated flat collector with an absorber plate. Neither is automatically best for every site. Water hardness, pressure, local weather, impact risk, maintenance and budget matter.
Understand electricity use

How Much Electricity Can a Geyser Use?

Use this simple estimate to understand the energy used by an electric geyser. Solar savings vary and should be estimated for your own usage.

Geyser Unit Calculator

Enter the geyser’s rated power and daily running time.

Estimated monthly electricity60 unitsAbout 2 units per day

Estimate assumes full rated power for the entered time; actual use may be lower due to thermostat cycling.

Example: 2 kW electric geyser

At full power, a 2 kW geyser running for 30 minutes uses approximately 1 kWh (one electricity unit). Running for one hour uses approximately 2 units.

Daily use: 1 hour
2 kW × 1 hour = 2 kWh/day
2 kWh × 30 days = 60 kWh/month

A solar water heater may offset some of the energy otherwise needed to heat water. The amount depends on solar availability, tank size, incoming water temperature, hot-water demand, insulation, backup use and system condition.

Scientific formula: Electrical energy (kWh) = power (kW) × operating time (hours). This is an illustrative calculation, not a guaranteed saving or bill reduction.

From sunlight to storage

How a Solar Water Heater Works

1

Collect Solar Heat

Glass tubes and the absorber coating capture solar radiation and convert it into heat.

2

Transfer Heat

Heat warms water through the collector's designed circulation or heat-transfer arrangement.

3

Store for Use

An insulated tank keeps water hot for later use. Backup heating can help when sunlight is insufficient.
